Last blog for 2007

Its been a while between blogs so thought we'd chuck a few pics on from the last couple of months.

In Nov we had a last minute weekend away in Paris.

We discovered this cool rent a bike system where you could pick up bikes from these unmanned stations for a Euro, and drop them off at any bike parking station all around town (almost every second corner!). Great and healthy way to get around and see the city. And over the whole weekend we didn't see a single vandalised bike (I wonder if that would be possible in Sydney or London?!).

Checking out the sites on the bikes!

We also had a chance to taste the much acclaimed Margaux for a decent price - it went straight into our top 3! A beautiful red from the Bordeaux part of France, it's a real winner!

And of course the cheese is always pretty good in france!

In December we had a quick one week visit from Em Robbo who was over in London for a fly by work trip. Not bad eh. It was great to catch up with her ahead of her wedding to Tom in Feb!

Dinner with Em Robbo and the team in London.

V cheesy photo in Borough markets.

And finally we celebrated Christmas with Em's extended family, the Dessons, in Guildord, just south of London. It was great to be able to spend christmas with family and they put on a pretty awesome spread! Gav now has a few extra kg's to loose before the Etape in July!

A flamin' good christmas pud!

Christmas blue steel.

Hapy new year to everyone and wishing you all a fantastic 2008!
