Sydney re-visited

Here are a few more pics from our trip back to Sydney a few weeks ago.

While Gav headed back to London after a fly-by four day visit, I was lucky enough to have an extra week to spend hanging out with fam and friends and soaking up the 30 degrees blue sky days every day! A highlight of the week was spending a few days up in Port Stephens at mum and dad's new beach pad - just a stumble from Corlette beach and the perfect spot to spend some quality time chilling out and catching up with the folks.

Gav managed to squeeze in a few cheeky ones at the Wharf bar

A great place to kick back with a beer and a book - the front balcony at the beach house

Reason for the season

We are just about to head off with Em's folks for the easter break to Florence. Should be great, but at the same time its easy to forget the reason why most of the world celebrates by having two days off at this time of the year.

Here's a reminder...

1 Peter 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

Lysh & Tim's wedding

We just got back from a really short trip back to Australia (4 days for Gav!) to celebrate the wedding of Gav's sister Lysh and her new husband Tim.

The wedding was held in the Peacock Gardens, and after 6 months of almost non-stop gardening Mum and Dad had the place looking pretty smick!

It was an awesome day. Everyone had a huge smile on their face as Lysh walked down the aisle looking beautiful and Tim was looking his usual suave self.

It was fantastic for us to get a chance to catch up with my cousins and relatives from Melbourne and Perth that we don't get a chance to see too often, and most importantly to see my sister get married to such a top bloke. We wish you guys a long and happy life together!

Here's some of the shots from the day (the good ones courtesy of Brett):
