Mr Bump

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for your well wishes, thoughts and prayers regarding Gav's recent surgery on his ear. All went well, and Gav's now feeling pretty good although a little bored while resting up at home.

He was pretty lucky and was put up in a 5 star hotel style hospital room with sky sports, regular 3 course meals and room service, which made it pretty tough to leave! Sure beats the old NHS!

He's looking forward to a speedy recovery, and being able to be active again!

Lumpi ist mein hund

We have just spent a great weekend in the Rhine valley in Germany with Tara and Caius.
Just a short 1 hour flight from london it was the perfect place to chill out, drink some great local Reisling, have plenty of laughs and eat a few too many schnitzels! It was a pretty amazing place with steep vineyard covered mountains either side of the river and a crazy amount of towering castles around every corner.

We managed to get by despite our very limited German which was restricted to: Guten Tag (good day), Auf Wiedersen (good bye), Danke (thank you), Sehr gut (very good) and the key one.... Ich bin Tara, Lumpi ist mein hund (My name is Tara and my dog is called Lumpi)!
