Say...what?!

Had a surprise visit from our mate Rich Say from Australia, who dropped into London at the start of his Euro trip. Despite just travelling 20 hours from Thailand Rich still managed to fire up for a few beers and was in great spirits despite having just got off the plane!

Rich has still got it!

We also had a great night out a few weeks ago to celebrate Catherine, Em's cousin's, 30th birthday and what better place to celebrate than at a 70's roller disco! Let's just say that rollerskating is much harder than we remember, and there were plenty of laughs and memorable stacks!

Under the Tuscan sun

Here are some pics of our recent trip to Tuscany over Easter with Em's mum and dad and Aunty Di and Uncle Greg. We spent a night and day checking out Florence and then headed to the Tuscan hills where mum and dad organised a lovely villa for us all to stay in. Gav had to do a bit of CFA study but it was certainly much easier hitting the books in a singo and shorts overlooking a Tuscan valley than sitting in our little London flat with grey skies outside!

With plenty of sunshine and unusually warm weather for April it was nice to give our pastey english winter skin a bit of much needed vitamin D!

Tasting the local Chianti at the very appropriately named Casa Emma!

The towers of San Gimignango, the ultimate case of keeping up with the Jones' - one family builds a tower, the neighbours get jealous and before you know it you have 13 tall towers in one tiny town!
