Another big announcement....

After the big announcement of Bev and Nat's engagement, another big announcement here in Plan Peisey has been the discovery of a water contamination issue. This is a pretty major outbreak in the water unlike the Sydney Water issue we had at home (circa 2001) and has effected more than 50% of the village. This is a huge relief to us after countless episodes of gastro which have struck down Em, Bev and more recently Nat on top of more than half of our guests 2 weeks in a row! Apparently the local mayor has known about it for over 2 weeks and hasn't broken the news until the busiest two weeks of the year were over, so stay tuned for some potential backlash on the streets from the locals!

While the announcement is probably a major dampener for the local toilet paper companies it's a big relief for us and we are hoping the discovery could make the toilet cleaning in the chalet a much less horrific task than the previous few weeks!!
